Bush Walks

A walk changes the scale of the bush completely. From the vehicle you cover ground; on foot you slow right down and start noticing the things that make the whole system work — tracks, dung, birdsong, the chew marks on a branch, the alarm call that tells you something is moving up ahead. A qualified trails guide leads, and your safety comes first the entire way.

We keep the walks small and shape them around what interests you. You may well cross paths with big game, but the walk is not a chase for it — it is a chance to read the bush on its own terms and come away understanding it a little better than you did. It is one of the quietest, most rewarding hours you can spend out here.

• Group size: minimum 2, maximum 6 guests per walk.
• Duration: approximately 3 hours.
• Cancellation: a 50% fee applies to cancellations received less than 14 days before the activity.
